Well done to everyone in the team, it was a great effort for our first season in Div 1 and also learning 11-a-side in the same process.
I think everyone will agree that we have had some fantastic performances this season. We have challenged all teams within our Div giving them a game.
Against the top teams in the Div we can certainly hold our heads up high as we managed a draw away at Barton Rovers (3-3) and lost 2-1 in the return fixture, Lost 4-3 away at Uttoxeter and lost 1-0 at home.
We were the first team to take points off Barton in two seasons.
The players have been kept happy for the majority of the season, however we understand that a couple of lads were frustrated at times with there total match play in certain games.
We knew this may be a problem having such a large squad but it does work both ways as in a couple of matches we only had a bare 11 x players from 17 available.
We hoped that we kept everyone involved and that we will remain together for next season and the future upto forming a winning Adult team (this is the clubs and the managers/coaches ambition).
Lets all work extra hard on the training field to improve out technical skills and understanding whilst boosting out fitness, strength and stamina.
Once again, many thanks !!
All at Woodville Rangers F.C
As you may know for the past 2 x seasons Woodville Rangers F.C has attended the show by having a stand. We show off some of our club photos, Respect campaign data, Charter Standard Info etc etc
As well as the above we have a Blackout and a few side attractions.
This year we will be attending again.
We will again put a display on in the main arena but only one with this being on a Saturday (TBC).
We would like as many children to take part as possible. All we ask is that you wear your full kit etc.
If anyone has any ideas, please speak to me.
Cheers

Many Thanks to everyone who made the effort to turn up to our annual awards/presentation day.
The Under 12`s had virtually 100% attendance except for just one player who was on holiday. What a fantastic turnout !!!
Many thanks to everyone who either purchased or made some food for the buffet. Once again another great spread.
We hope all of the awards were to your liking and we hope that all of the children our proud of there achievements.
Lets keep up the good work !!!!!
On behalf of Woodville Rangers F.C, we would just like to Thank everyone who managed to raise funds for our annual sponsored walk.
Thanks to everyone who managed to complete the walk (100% of participants) and to everyone who helped to organise the day and help marshal etc.
We have had a good season this year and hopefully we can all build on it for the 2011/12 season.
We have alot to look forward to, new kits, kids deveolping, club functions etc.
Once again many thanks for your loyal support during the 2010/11 season.
Just remember we are always here to listen as we are striving to improve our club !!!
Hi Folks,
Every year we hold a couple of fundraisers to help provide money to cover our overheads during a season.
We always try and fundraise for the forthcoming season to ensure that as a club we remain to be in a good stable financial condition. This allows the club to run for 12 months without any worries and sudden changes in overheads to us as a club and the parents etc.
Based on the above we are pleased to announce a Sponsored Walk on 7th May 2011.
The walk will start at 2-30pm at Spring Cottage. The home of the U12`s which is exactly opposite "The Navigation Inn".
The walk or run if you prefer is approx 4 miles and will start and finish at the Spring Cottage Pitch.
There will be refreshments to purchase from the pub (details to follow) and they may also be some football taking place by the way of a penalty comp etc.
There is plenty of parking at both the Pitch car park and the pub (they have given us permission to use it).
There is also an adventure play area for the children.
The walk is a set route which will be in part of the national forest so its important we stay on the tracks and keep it clean.
There will be a number of marshals around the walk to guide and support the children.
Mangers will hand the forms oun week commencing 4th April 2011.
Please support us and get us as much sponsorship as possible, we understand that if you have more than one child in the club people cannot afford to sponsor both of them. You may just add there names together onto one sheet.
Parents, Players, Brothers, Sisters, other family and friends are allowed to take part.
If you would like to see the route you can find an attachment on the clubs homepage and club news header.
Many Thanks
Woodville Rangers F.C
