U8 Blues were formed at the end of the 08/09 season of tournament fixtures after some deliberation over whether to play 2 teams at Under 8 Level. Coaches Jason Barnett and Carl McGoldrick head the team originally formed from Belmont Primary School friends. Alongside this, Jack Edwards (who trains with Leicester City) and Jack Waltham formed the original line up. In late October Jack Clark from Stretton Swifts joined, and soon after Arron Faulkner and Charlie Aldred.
Blues ethos is about respect and fairness in victory and defeat.
